Your homework assignment is to write an essay using the quote that was given to you by your classmate. The minimum length is one paragraph (1P). The essay may be fictional or it may be an essay about a real event. Incorporate the quote into your essay.
Perhaps the quote will be the reason for your story OR the lesson learned in your story OR a motivating factor in the middle of your essay.
Requirements (in each paragraph)
• all dress ups (indicate 1 example of each dress up -- choose ONE www asia)
• all openers (indicate 1 example of each opener -- choose ONE #5)
• 1 DEC (in addition to your DEC1)
• NO banned words (unless there is a bw IN your quote)
• NO contractions (unless there is a contraction IN your quote)
• NO DIALOGUE ---> The ONLY exception is that you may allow a character to say your quote OR to have an inner dialogue that expresses the quote. Remember NOT to use banned words such as, "said" or "say" in this one exception to the dialogue rule. Only one line of dialogue is allowed under this exception.
Your essay should be in its final draft form.
Include a checklist under your essay.
